Come home to yourself - have peace and harmony around you.

BE MINDFUL OF BEING MINDFUL

Have you ever been lost in your mind where your thoughts just go around in circles, such as worrying and doubting and thinking that others are judging you and then felt like you work up from it and woke up from it... this is a form or waking up mindfulness.

You may also have a moment of feeling like a sense of presence moment awareness while walking to work or, pausing to look out the window or listen to the birds, reflecting on your day as you get ready for bed.

REDUCE DISTRACTIONS

Instead of watching Tv and binging on netflix or on social media - Connect to yourself :)

Read, journal, meditate, go out in nature and be quiet + still and listen to your surroundings - you will get messages of what you need to do for your highest good to awaken yourself and follow your truth.

WEAVE MINDFULNESS INTO YOUR DAY

Tune into your breathe when talking to others or doing tasks. This will help you feel and stay grounded in yourself and in the present moment. Return to an awareness of your breaking many, many times away. You can use regular events such as meals to pause, collect yourself, and to come in the present. You then can strengthen your attention to mindfulness through an expression of creativity such as Art, craft, crossword, puzzles that require concentration of the moment.

MEDITATE

There are many methods, traditions and teachers of meditations.

Find which one is best for you to connect to yourself everyday. Which is most enjoyable and effective for you. Don't have pressure on yourself to do it everyday but put in in your daily schedule to remind yourself to do it. Night time is the best way to connect before bed and then you wake up really connected to yourself - this is great time to journal in the morning as this is when we are most conscious as we haven't had distractions around us - and be really aware of your needs and your truth.
